Boss: count a group from the index
A B-tree on grp keeps the 100 entries of one group side by side. If the index alone can answer, the heap is never read (an index-only scan), but only for pages the visibility map marks all-visible.

Make counting the rows of group 7 touch at most 8 buffers. Create what it needs, then run the count last.
